She was the daughter of William and Lucindy (Robinson) Hall and married Joe Edward Ables - 02 Jan 1912 - Lincoln Co., Tennessee. Her obituary follows:


Funeral services for Mrs. Pearl Ables, 74, of the Harms community, who died in the local hospital early Wednesday morning, were conducted Thursday afternoon at two o'clock in the chapel of the Gallant Funeral Home with Bro. Billy Cole officiating. Burial was in Lebanon Cemetery.


She was a native of Franklin County, daughter of the late Bill and Lucinda Robinson Hall. Her husband, Joe E. Ables, died in 1951. She was a member of the Church of Christ.


Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. E. W. Braden, Nashville, and Mrs. Leon Mitchell, Huntsville, Alabama; three sons, Robert Ables and Bill Ables, both of Lincoln County, and Joe E. Ables, Jr. of Wisconsin; one sister, Mrs. Ollie Medley, Lincoln County; one brother, Knox Hall, Huntland, Tennessee; nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
