CROUSE, Evelyn - 93, Mahone Bay Nursing Home, Mahone Bay, formerly of Bridgewater, passed away July 25, 2004, in the home. Born December 25, 1910, in Voglers Cove, she was the daughter of the late Allen and Hilda Hall. She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Bridgewater; a former member of Rebekah Lodge where she was Past Noble Grand and had received her 50 Year Jewel. Evelyn was a gifted singer and enjoyed sharing her musical talents with others. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She is survived by her niece, Marion (Ted) Browne, Bridgewater; nephew, George (Elaine) Hall, Halifax; two great-nieces and two great-nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Wilbert J. Crouse; her brother, Russell Hall. There will be no visitation in the funeral home by request. A public graveside service will be held 11 a.m. Thursday in Brookside Cemetery, Bridgewater, Pastor Beth Wagschal officiating. No flowers by request. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Mahone Nursing Home Van Fund, Mahone Bay, or the charity of your choice. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Sweeny's Funeral Home, Bridgewater.
