Beatrice Isabelle Brushett, 84, 86 Lawrence Street, Lunenburg, died March 29, 1995, in Victoria General Hospital, Halifax. Born in Lunenburg, she was a daughter of the late F. Alden and Ellen (Young) Hall. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Lunenburg; Bluenose Senior Citizens Club; and Grace Chapter, Order of Eastern Star, Lunenburg for 54 years. Surviving are a daughter, Marion (Mrs. Grant MacLaine), Hammonds Plains; son, Ronald Levy, Liverpool; sisters, Mabel (Mrs. Everett Dares), Mrs. Ione Bouchie, Lunenburg; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her first husband, Vernon Levy; second husband, Archie Brushett; sister, Margaret; brothers, Corbin, Ralph; granddaughter, Lesley. Funeral 2 p.m. today in Zion Lutheran Church, Lunenburg, Rev.Douglas Moore officiating. Burial in Hillcrest Cemetery, Lunenburg. In lieu of flowers, donations to Zion Lutheran Church, Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scoita or any charity. Arrangements under the direction of Dana L. Sweeny Funeral Home, Lunenburg.
