She was born Nov. 20, 1911, in Miller City, Ill., daughter of Charles and Susan Houston Hanley.
Fite was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Mound City.
She was first married to George Monan, then to Fred Fite, both of whom preceded her in death.
Survivors include two daughters, Kitten McCowen of Mound City and Ellen Medlin of Sikeston, Mo.; a son, Robin Monan of Mound City; three sisters, Dolly Walker of Mission Vista, Calif., Frances Ann Swank of LaVerne, Calif., Ellen DeJarnett of Sikeston; a brother, Bob Hanley of Clinton, Ky.; eight grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Fite was preceded in death by a daughter and four sisters.
Friends may call from 5-9 p.m. today at Barkett Funeral Home in Mound City.
Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Monday at the funeral home, with Monsignor Bill McGhee officiating. Burial will be in Beechwood Cemetery in Mounds.
