Carl W. Hanover, 80, of 510 Broadway, Normal, formerly of 1109 S. East St., Bloomington, died at 3:50 a.m. yesterday (June 15, 1993) at St. Joseph Medical Center, Bloomington.
His funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Kibler-Smith Memorial Home, Bloomington, the Rev. Carl H. Miller officiating. Burial will be in East Lawn Memorial Gardens, Bloomington.Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the memorial home.
Mr. Hanover was born Aug. 19, 1912, in Bloomington, a son of Albert and Hulda Garling Hanover. He married Ruth M. Hight Sept. 19, 1935, in Randolph. She died in February 1970.
Surviving are one daughter, Carol Hanover, 1109 S. East St., Bloomington; and one sister, Margaret Atkins, Buckley.
He was preceded in death by one daughter.
Mr. Hanover had farmed in Bloomington Township and was a former member of McLean County Farm Bureau.
He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Bloomington.
