Mrs. Hare, a Norfolk native, was a member of South Norfolk Congregational Christian Church. She also was a member of Moose Lodge of Norfolk.
Survivors include her husband, James T. Hare Sr. of Norfolk; a son, James T. Har Jr. of Virginia Beach; a sister, Verna Stevens of Chesapeake; and a brother, John Creech of Virginia Beach.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday in South Norfolk Congregational Christian Church by the Revs. Nelson Hodges and Willis Joiner. Burial will be in Riverside Memorial Park. Grahm Funeral Home, South Norfolk Chapel, is handling arrangements. The family will be at the residence and at the funeral home from 7 to 8 p.m. today.
