Mrs. Ferebee was born in Hertford County, N.C. She retired as head of the office equipment department at Norfolk Stationery Co., was a member of First Baptist Church, Ahoskie, and the widow of Kenneth L. Ferebee.
Survivors include a brother, William J. Hare of Bryan, Ohio; and 11 nieces and nephews.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday at Garrett Funeral Home by Dr. Jesse J. Croom. Burial will be at 3 p.m. in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Norfolk. The family will meet at the funeral home at 10:30 a.m. Friday prior to service. Memorial contributions may be made to Ahoskie Rescue Squad, Ahoskie, N.C. The family will receive friends at the home of Mrs. Keith Rawls, 612 Lakeview Drive, Ahoskie.
