Services for Mrs. Verna Clark of 1025 Centre St. will be at 9:30 am Wednesday at Christ the King Church, Rt. Rev. Msgr. John Bretz will officiate and burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
Mrs. Clark, 30, died at 2:40 a.m. Monday at St. John's Hospital, from results of an automobile accident Sunday.
A resident of Springfield most of her life, Mrs. Clark was a nurse's aide at Memorial Hospital. She was born at New Berlin the daughter of Ivan and Mary Jane Owen Harlan. She was married to John M. Clark on Feb. 14, 1953.
Surviving are her husband, John M. , one daughter, Terri Ann Clark, three sons, John M Jr, Dale and Steven, all at home, parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Harlan of Springfield, two sisters, Mrs. Margaret Hoffman and Mrs. Joyce Goldesberry, both of Springfield, one brother, James William Harlan of springfield, and grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Harlan of Springfield.
The body is at Staab Funeral Home.
