Member Lewisburg and Preble County Historical Societies. Preceded in death by mother: Loretta Dell (Hoff) Harris, 1973 and brother: Robert L. Harris, Jr., 1998. Survivors: husband of 43 years: James A. Dempsey; children: James A. (Christy) Dempsey, Lewisburg, Jack A. Dempsey, Greenfield, IN and Sheri L. (David) Meeks, Lewisburg; father & step-mother: Robert L. & Josephine Harris, Lewisburg; sister: Patricia Nieman, Maynardville, TN and granddaughters: Lauren and Emily Dempsey.
