A well-known Verona woman, Mrs. Dorothy Ditmer, 55, passed away at 10:30 a.m. Monday at the home of her son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Dwane Ditmer, in Verona, after a long illness with a malignancy. A native of West Sonora, she was a resident of Verona most of her life.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Verona EUB church, of which she was a member, with the pastor, the Rev. J. C. Herbert, officiating, and burial will be in Verona cemetery. Friends may call at the Kramer Memorial chapel in Lewisburg until about noon Thursday and after 1 p.m. at the church.
Surviving are the husband, Harry; two sons, Dwane and Earl, the latter of Lima; two daughters, Mrs. Katherine Clevinger of Liberty and Mrs. Mabel Creech of Verona; her father, Earl Harris of Verona, and 12 grandchildren.
