Mrs. Mary Jane Adams, 93, of Acorn, died January 4 after an illness of one week.

The daughter of James and Martha Stogsdill Harris, she was born June 2, 1870 at Public. She was married to the late John Adams.

She is survived by the following children, Ellie Simpson, Dave Adams, Walter Adams, and Otis Adams, all of Indiana, Bill Adams, New Richmond, Ohio, Ester Adams, Bethel, Ohio, and Melda Dobkins, Acorn.

Funeral services were held January 7 at the Acorn Baptist Church with the Rev. W.M. Cottongim officiating. Burial was in the Acorn Cemetery.

Denney-Murrell-Correll Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
