Born in Fall River, the daughter of Mabel R. (Saunders) Hartford of Dalton, Massachusettsand the late Lynwood Hartford, Sr. She was a graduate of the Class of 1962 of Apponequet High School, and then went on to graduate from the former Truesdale Hospital School of Nursing in 1965.
Mrs. Bolduc was the school nurse at Apponequet High School for eighteen years, retiring in 1997. While the nurse at the school, she cared for the bodies, hearts, and souls of the students and staff with grace, skill, and compassion. A scholarship has been established in Mrs. Bolduc’s name at the high school for a senior pursuing a nursing career. Following her retirement, she spent many years as an active member of the Hitching Post Retirement Community in Naples, Florida. Mrs. Bolduc enjoyed shopping for bargains, entertaining friends and family, doing nice things for others, and spoiling her three grandsons. She leaves a legacy of courage and perseverance and the reminder to all of us that “Everyday is a Gift”.
In addition to her mother and her husband, Mrs. Bolduc is survived by two daughters, and three brothers.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday May 15, 2007 at 10 AM in Saint Bernard Church, 32 South Main Street Assonet. Relatives and friends are invited to attend by going directly to the Church. Burial will follow in the Assonet Burying Ground. CALLING HOURS will be held on Monday from 4-8 PM in the HATHAWAY HOME FOR FUNERALS, 1813 Robeson Street Fall River, Massachusetts.
