Our loving wife and mother went home to her Father in Heaven and awaiting family on Friday evening November 30, 2007. She passed peacefully at home surrounded by loving family. Julia married her sweetheart Douglas Brinton on May 10, 1950. Julia dedicated her life to her family, friends and was always selfless in her love, understanding, dedication and service.

The greatest tribute to her comes from those who knew her best and were greatly blessed by her life. Her children, Calvin Douglas (LaVada), Rena (Mark Clark), and Edward Smith (Lourdes) give their mother all their love and gratitude for the wonderful mother and friend she was, still is and always will be. We all look forward to being together again in your loving presence. Honey, Mom, Granny, Julia, we miss you; love you, and know that now you are happy and enjoying a well deserved rest. Julia has left behind her loving husband, three lucky children, nine spoiled grandchildren, and six cheated great-grandchildren.

In honor of Mom's request, there will be a Viewing held on Monday, December 3rd, 2007 from 6-8 p.m., Rose Park North Stake (1200 West and 1155 North). A Second Viewing will be held Tuesday, 11:45 a.m. - 12:45 p.m., with Graveside Services at 1 p.m., Larkin Sunset Gardens Cemetery, 1950 East 10600 South.
