Mrs. Atholine Adams, age 92, of Lovelady, passed away Tuesday, July 29, 2014 in the Winfield Healthcare Center in Crockett. She was born March 20, 1922 in Houston County and had lived in Lovelady most of her lifetime. She was a housewife and longtime faithful member of the Antioch Baptist Church in Lovelady.
Preceded in death by husband, Jack Adams; parents, James Michael and Tennessee (Goodrum) Hartnett; sisters, Yvette Freeman, Opal Adams and brother, Bill Hartnett.
Funeral services for Mrs. Atholine Adams will be held Saturday, August 2, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. in the Antioch Baptist Church in Lovelady with Rev. Tony Wolfe officiating. Interment will follow in the Antioch Cemetery in Lovelady. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Antioch Baptist Church, 4416 F. M. 230, Lovelady, Texas 75851.
