Tom was born February 7, 1929 in Jackson, Nebraska to William D. and Julia(Graves). He grew up in South Sioux City. He married Alma Jean Carter in 1951, and they had three children. Tom was an avid golfer, and loved to entertain family and friends. He worked 21 years for the Milwaukee Motors Transportation Co. He also worked for the Willett Co. and the Santa Fe Railroad.
Tom was preceded in death by his wife Alma Jean, his son Thomas Steven, and all of his brothers and sisters, William Gerald, John Edward, Bonnie L. Cosgrove, Francis Leo, Patricia Ann South, and Donald Jerome.
Tom is survived by his daughter Theresa Ann, his son Robert Paul(Donna), three grandchildren, Allison(Drew) Hanson, Robert, and Megan, as well as, two great grandsons, William and Henry Hanson.
