Barbara, age 77, of St. Louis, passed away Saturday, at her home.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, September 3, 2008, at Lux Funeral Home, St. Louis. Interment will be in Chapel Gardens Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.

Barbara was born the daughter of Fred and Dorothy (Fluharty) Haught. She was raised by her mother and step-father, Harry Shriver. Barbara married Arnold Anderson on October 25, 1958 in St. Louis. She worked for the St. Louis IGA and was also a nurses aide at Shriver Nursing Home in St. Louis and Wilcox Health Care Center in Alma. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, quilting and canning. She especially loved time spent with her family.

Barbara is survived by her husband and best friend of 50 years, Arnold of St. Louis, a son, Robert (Nancy) Smock of Grand Ledge, two daughters, Linda Cox of Alma and Nancy Phillipson of Munising, eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father, Fred Haught, mother, Dorothy Shriver and step-father, Harry Shriver.
