CANIFF, Bonnie Gail Haught, 66, of Follansbee, W.Va., passed away Wednesday, July 9, 2008, at her residence. She was born May 3, 1942, in Campbells Run, Metz, W.Va., a daughter of the late Edward and Marjorie Jane Smith Haught. Bonnie enjoyed spending time with her friends. She loved country music and singing. Her favorite song to perform was "Chattanooga Choo Choo." She was an award winning Avon Representative; and a graduate of Follansbee High School. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Caniff, a medic who died in the Vietnam War. She is survived by her nephew, Donald L. Haught II of Miami, Florida; half brother, Don Haught, Sr. of Wooster, Ohio; half sister, Marybelle Kelly; cousins, Lavon Messer and Barbara Slay; and aunts, Dorothy Thomas and Lucinda Sikles. A graveside service will be held on Monday, July 14, 2008, at noon at Mannington Memorial Park Cemetery, Mannington, W.Va., with Don Haught II officiating.
