She was born on September 14, 1923, in Baltimore, to the late Grace and Charles Haynie. After high school, she continued her studies in college, and went on to work for C&P Telephone Company for 34 years. A member of the Eastern Star, she enjoyed reading and spending time with her family.
Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 48 years: Frank Balint, and her sister Audrey Rose Hagins.
