Ermine Barrick, 78, of Fort Worth, died Wednesday, June 6, 2012, in a Dallas hospital. Graveside funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Sunday, June 10, 2012 at the Evergreen Cemetery chapel with Shawn Gary, officiating.
The family will receive friends from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Saturday, June 9, 2012, at the funeral home.

She was born September 6, 1933, in Stanton, Texas and married Ed Barrick on February 12, 1994 in Palacios, Texas.

Ermine graduated from Stanton High School and received her Master's in Education Degree from North Texas State University. She taught elementary school for over 30 years.

She loved to travel, loved gardening and plants, and enjoyed cross stitching, sewing, crafting and quilting and making things for others.

Ermine looked forward to getting together with the girls in her graduating class for their "Annual Slumber Party". She adored her family and all knew they were loved unconditionally.

Survivors include her husband, Ed Barrick of Forth Worth; one son, Travis Crow and wife, Cindy of Wolfforth; one daughter, Vietia Romine and husband, Larry of Big Spring; six grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; two step-sons, Anthony Barrick and wife, Barbara and Timothy Barrick and wife, Patty; and numerous nieces & nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, T. W. and Margaret Haynie; two brothers, S. E. Haynie and Travis L. Haynie: and a niece, Margaret Haynie Adams.

The family suggests memorials be made to Martin County Senior Center, P. O. Box 1233, Stanton, Texas 79782 or to Lamun-Lusk-Sanchez Texas State Veterans Home, 1809 N. Hwy. 87, Big Spring, Texas 79720.
