Times Record Obituary: Anna L. Helm, 88, of Van Buren, died Monday, April 17, 2006, in a local nursing home (Brownwood Manor Inc.) She was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Helm; a son, Bobby Helm; both parents, Herman and Carrie (Wood) Yakley; one brother, Herman Yakley Jr.; two sisters, Flora Mae Neidecker and Patricia Ann Knox. She was of the Christian faith.

Funeral service will be 10 a.m. today at Ocker Funeral Home Chapel in Alma with burial at Gill Cemetery in Van Buren under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home of Van Buren.

She is survived by four sisters, Lora Peters, Audrey Moses, both of Van Buren, Betty Stockton of Rudy and Zelma Brisco of Fort Smith; a brother, Clyde Yakley of Van Buren; two grandchildren, Dana Hawkins and her husband, Jimmy of Crawfordsville and Stanley Helm of Booneville; and two great-grandchildren, William and Heather Hawkins of Crawfordsville.

Pallbearers will be Jerry Marion, Archie Peters, Allen Yeakley, Herman Yakley III, Lawrence Swaim and D.J. Lincks.
