Bobby Helm, 66, of Van Buren died Monday, August 22, 2005, in Memphis. He was retired from US Forge Craft, a former member of the 142nd Army National Guard, of the Baptist faith and a past Master of the Masonic Lodge No. 735 in Alma. He was preceded in death by his father, William Raymond Helm.
Graveside service will be 10 a.m. Thursday, August 25, 2005, at Gill Cemetery Arbor with burial at Gill Cemetery in Van Buren under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home of Van Buren.
He is survived by a daughter, Dana Hawkins of Crawfordsville; a son, Stanley Helm of Booneville; mother, Anna Helm of Van Buren; and two grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Archie D. Peters, Lawrence Swaim, Alan Yeakley, Herman Yakley, Steve Moses and Jerry Marion.
Honarary pallbearers will be the Alma Masonic Lodge No. 735, Marion Newton, Ricky Moses, Robert Shamas, Jimmy Hawkins and Charles Edward Stockton.
The family will visit with friends today from 6 to 8 p.m. at Ocker Funeral Home, 700 Jefferson in Van Buren.
