Brooktondale, NY., Feb. 16.—Mrs. D. Uriah Banfield, aged 76 years, died this morning at her home on Snyder Hill. Her husband, D. Uriah Banfield, aged 78 years, died last night at the family home, after several days illness of grip. Mrs. Banfield’s death is ascribed by her friends to old age and acute grief for her husband. Mrs. Banfield was one of three sisters who married three brothers. Emily, Calista and May Hemingway were married about 56 years ago to Justice, John J. and D. Uriah Banfield, respectively. They had always lived within a few miles of each other until a few years ago, when Mr. and Mrs. Justice Banfield moved to Montour Falls, where Mr. Banfield died. Mr. and Mrs. Banfield celebrated their golden wedding three years ago.

Mrs. Banfield was a member of the grange 'until ill health compelled her to withdraw. Both Mr. and Mrs. Banfield were prominent in church circles. The double funeral will be held at 1
o'clock Saturday afternoon, from the home. It will be private. The Rev.
Mr. Ross of Brookton will officiate. Interment will be in Snyder Hill Cemetery
