Toots, 86, passed away at her home at Mt. Vernon Assisted Living Center. She was born to William Savoy and Clara Beor, attended Boonville High School and Holland Patent High School, and graduated from Utica School of Commerce of New York. On August 10, 1946, she married Clifford Cramer Hemming in Oriskany, NY. They made their home in Oriskany for 60 years. After retirement, they enjoyed many years at their cabin on Black River near Boonville. Toots moved to Idaho Falls, ID, to be near their son after Clifford died in 1999. She was a homemaker and worked as a bookkeeper and secretary. She was a member of Oriskany American Legion and VFW in Clinton, NY. She enjoyed gardening, jigsaw puzzles, reading, knitting, and crocheting. Survivors included: son William "Bill" (Sylvia) Hemming, Idaho Falls, ID; daughter Teresa Ann Lippold, Houston, TX; brother Sonny Savoy, 6 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Preceding were her brothers Bob, Ken, and Teddy, and sisters Cecilia and Betty.
