A graduate of Somerville High School, Mrs. Henderson completed business school and worked in Manhattan at the Irving Trust Company as a credit analyst. She told many stories about running for the Staten Island Ferry in her high heels so that she would make the train ride home. It was on that train that she met her future husband, Paul Henderson, and they married on June 2, 1946.
Mrs. Henderson is predeceased by her husband, Paul Hantz Henderson, her sisters, Helen Budd Vanderbilt, Jean Budd Hansen, and her brother, Daniel Monroe Budd, and her grandson, Jake Henderson.
Mrs. Henderson leaves a legacy to her daughters, Christine Rose, H. Lee Henderson, Jane Glick, Sue Tepper and Amy Caldwell; and eight grandchildren
