Born in Bivalve, NJ, she was a long time Sewell resident. She was an accomplished quilter and enjoyed travelling with her late husband, Norman. Alberta had a musical background and played guitar and sang professionally in the 1940's. Wife of the late Norman J. DeLany, she was devoted to her family.
She is survived by her daughter Linda D. O'Reilly and her husband Michael of Mullica Hill, sons Thomas J. DeLany of Woodbine and Norman J. DeLany, Jr. of Mullica Hill, grandchildren: Thomas M. O'Reilly and his wife Julie, Holly O'Reilly & her husband Kenneth McClaine and Daniel O'Reilly; great grandchildren, Shelby, Kaytie & Michael, sisters: Doris Mayers & Mildred DiBenedetto and life long friend: Catherine Snyder.
Relatives and friends may visit with the family at SMITH FUNERAL HOME, 47 Main St., Mantua, NJ where funeral services will be held. Interment will be in Gloucester County Veterans Cemetery.
