Daughter of Thomas Perry, mother unknown on DC, she was widowed, city treasurer and clerk, and co-publisher, lived at PO Box 215 Cathlamet, died in Cowlitz General Hospital of advanced arteriosclerosis, acute myocardial failure, and senile dementia, per death certificate 20444, whose informant was Mrs. Robert (Norma) Schroeppel, 3835 35th Ave W, Seattle, WA. Buried Sep 2 1971 in Greenwood Cemetery.

Cathlamet -- Mrs. Elizabeth D. Hendrix, 81, died in a Longview Hospital Monday. She was born Feb. 25, 1890 in Yamhill.

She moved to Cathlamet in 1932, co-published the Wahkiakum Eagle with her husband from 1932 to 1948, and was a Cathlamet city treasurer-clerk for 15 years, retiring in 1967.

She married Paul Hendrix who preceded her in death.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Norma Schoeppel of Seattle; a sister, Miss Hope Perry of Yamhill, OR; and a granddaughter.

Services will be at 1 pm Thursday in Dowling Chapel. Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery.
