BEVERLY R. ALEXANDER, 91, died Friday, Nov. 1, 2013. Born Aug. 22, 1922, in Fair-mont, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late Rex and Lena Hersh-berger. She was a retired Post Master of the Arcola, Ind. Post Office. She was a member of the Arcola United Methodist Church, past President of the Arcola United Methodist Women, and a Children's Sunday School Teacher. She loved crafting and baking pies of which cherry was her favorite. Surviving are her son, Mark (Linda) Alexander; daughter-in-law, Charyl Alexander; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; and nine step-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Alexander in 1992; son, Mike Alexander in 2009; and two step-great-grandchildren. Service is 11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 5, 2013 at the Arcola United Methodist Church, 11311 Arcola Road with calling one hour prior to service. Calling also from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, Nov. 4, 2013 at Covington Memorial Funeral Home 8408 Covington Road. Burial in Covington Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Preferred memorials to Arcola United Methodist Church or Covington Commoms Resident Activities.
