Marie (Emmons) Hershberger, 87, died Wednesday, July 28, 2010 at the Masonic Home in Springfield, Ohio.
She was born in Darlington, Ind. on Nov. 6, 1977. She married Don Hershberger in November 1940 and was with him until his death in March 1979.
Marie lived in California where she worked for the post office for more than 25 years until her retirement in the 1980s.
She moved to Libby in 1989 and then moved back to Ohio in 1993.
Marie was preceded in death by her husband, Don.
Survivors include her three children, Judy Hallenbeck of Phillips Ranch, Calif.; Joyce Canup and husband Floyd of LeGrande, Ore.; and Tim Hershberger of Panama and daughter-in-law Linda Hershberger of Spokane, Wash.; three grandchildren, Brian Hershberger and wife Chelsea of Oak Harbor, Wash.; Karen Hershberger of Post Falls, Idaho; and Cindy Lott and husband Ely of Georgia; and three great-grandchildren, Marcus, Tyler and Sebastian.
In honor of Marie's life, donations may be made to the St. John's Lutheran Hospital Hospice in Libby.
Marie will be buried in California beside her husband.
