Brenda enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and her family. She also enjoyed gardening, painting, quilting, sewing, crocheting, and ceramics. One of her greatest passions was genealogy, and she enjoyed not only tracing her own roots, but helping others unearth their own ancestral stories as well, even publishing her family history research in several books. She was truly the epitome of a "jack of all trades" and was not only able to fix absolutely anything, but could even complete the latest video game with her grandson whom she dearly loved.
