She was born to Isaac H & Anna M. Hickman, & enjoyed life on their farm along with her siblings: Max, Elizabeth & William, before attending nursing school in Kansas City, MO. After graduation she married physician James V. Brown. They had 3 children: James(Diane), Margaret(John Hardin), & Pamela Baker. She was a teacher at Peter Burnett School & an R.N. at Sacramento County Hospital, retiring from teaching after 27 years. She graduated CSUS. Grandmother to 3, & gr-grandmother to 4. Her last years were spent at Emeritus, Elk Grove, CA. She died at Kaiser South Hospital from pneumonia.
No services are planned, but she will be laid to rest at East Lawn Memorial Park, Sacramento, CA.
