Herbert Ross Hill, 97, of Brownsville, TX, devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, entered into eternal rest on Dec. 11, 2014 at Valley Baptist Medical Center Brownsville surrounded by his loving family. He was born in San Antonio, TX on Sept. 28, 1917.
He is preceded in death by his wife Ruth Evins Hill and brother William Giles Hill of San Antonio, TX.
Left to cherish his memory is son David Ross Hill (Cynthia), step granddaughter Vanessa Garza, brother James Hill (Ping) of San Antonio, TX, nieces, Cynthia Hill Blizzard, Susan Hill Hill, Sandy Hill Schuelke and several great nieces and nephews.
Ross will be dearly missed.
