Mrs. Gray was a lifelong resident of Niagara Falls, NY and attended local schools. On March 11, 1944, Ruth married William A. Gray. Mr. Gray predeceased her on October 5, 1973. She was a member of Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church in Niagara Falls, NY. Mrs. Gray enjoyed playing cards, bingo and baking for her family.
Mrs. Gray is survived by three sons, William F. (late Charlotte) Gray of Lyndonville, NY, Robert (Peggy) Gray of Ransomville, NY, and David (Jean) Gray of North Tonawanda, NY; four grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. Ruth is also survived by two brothers, Henry Hillman of Niagara Falls, NY and Walter "Butch" Hillman of Niagara Falls, NY; one sister, Lillian Carbone of North Tonawanda, NY and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by one grandson, William C. Gray; one brother, Frank Hillman and two sisters, Myrtle Wade and Clara Bennion.
