Courtney Hillyer died at his home on Saturday morning from Bright's disease after an illness lasting six months. He was 61 years old and leaves a wife, one brother and two sisters to mourn his loss.
The Rev. Samuel Job of the Episcopal Church of our Savior officiated at the funeral, which was held on Monday afternoon at the Baptist Church and was largely attended by relatives and friends.
Interment in Rose Hill Cemetery.
