ELLSWORTH HILLYER DIES AS A RESULT OF FALL FROM LADDER

Old Bridge - Jan. 12, 1931 - Ellsworth Hillyer, 37, who fell from a ladder on which he was standing while painting a house in South Amboy last Thursday, died at South Amboy Memorial Hospital at 10:30 p. m. Saturday.

The deceased was a veteran of the World War, having seen action at both the St. Mihiel and Argonne fronts.

He is survived by his mother, Mrs. Celia Hillyer, three brothers, Ross, Norman and Percy of Old Bridge, and two sisters;" Mrs. Harry Fowler of Berlin, and Mrs. Edward Braney of Old Bridge.

Funeral services will be held from the Hillyer home at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon and from the Methodist Church at 2:30 p m. The Sergeant Joseph Crandell Post, American Legion, will act as pallbearers. Undertaker Hulse of Englishtown will be in charge.
