She was a homemaker and also worked as a business manager for Paul's Motel, Turlock.
She was a 1948 graduate of Merced High School.
She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, and enjoyed reading, gardening and animals.
She is survived by her children, Christine West of Tennessee and Ronald G. Tacheira of Livingston; stepchildren, Susan Carlson of Bass Lake and Jeffrey Hanne of Duncanville, Texas; and 19 grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Hanne.
