Henry Cobb's wife second. Daughter of Samuel and Sarah (Soole) Hinckley.

She was the daughter of Samuel Hinckley and his wife Sarah Soole. In the ship manifest, her father is said to be of Tenterden, England. Sarah arrived with her parents and siblings aboard the ship Hercules in Boston harbor March 1634. She married Henry Cobb Sr., as his second wife December 12, 1649 at Barnstable, being admitted to the Barnstable church January 20, 1649/50.

Sarah Hinckley and Elder Henry Cobb had the following children:

1. Mehitable Cobb, who died young

2. Samuel Cobb, who married Elizabeth Taylor

3. Sarah Cobb, who died as an infant

4. Jonathan Cobb, who married Hope Chipman

5. Sarah Cobb, (2nd of that name) who married Samuel Chipman

6. Henry Cobb Jr., who married Lois Hallett

7. Mehitable Cobb, who died young (2nd of that name)
