Memorial services for Mrs. Gertrude Hoag Axelson, 85, former Walworth and Milton Junction resident who died Oct. 5 in Albuquerque, N. M., were held at 12:30 p.m. Saturday in the Walworth Funeral Home. The Rev. John Francis officiated. Burial was in Walworth Cemetery.

Mrs. Axelson lived with a daughter, Mrs. Robert Clarida, Albuquerque, for the past 2 1/2 years. Previously she had lived with another daughter, Mrs. Alice Vosburg, Evanston, Ill. She was born in Walworth, Nov. 4, 1872. Her husband, Gustave Axelson, Chicago newspaperman, died in 1927.

Services were held Oct. 6, in Albuquerque and the body was cremated.

During her Milton Junction residence, Mrs. Axelson roomed with Mrs. Lizzie Kelly, Vernal Ave., Milton Junction.

Mr. and Mrs. Clarida had a camera shop in Edgerton at one time.
