Visitation will be Nov. 12, 2-7 p.m. at the funeral home, with the family receiving visitors from 6-7 p.m. and on Nov. 13, from 1:30-2:25 p.m at the church. Services will be held at True Vine MB Church at 2:30 p.m. on Nov. 13, with burial in Cottrell Memorial Garden. Rev. Darryl Cunningham will officiate. J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
She leaves three daughters, Annie B. Johnson of Alpharetta, Ga., Ferrell Jones, Barbara Taylor, both of Holly Springs; three sons, Willie Edward Barksdale, Larrie Barksdale, Bobby Barksdale, all of Holly Springs; three sisters, Verleese Hoey, Josie Brown, both of Holly Springs, Edna Hoey of Aurora, Ill.; five brothers, Eddie Lee Hoey of Aurora, Willie H. Hoey, Sammie Hoey, Joe Cecil Hoey, Charles Hoey, all of Holly Springs; 18 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
