A native of Sutton, Neb., she married Albert Bitterman there on June 27 1931. They came to Lodi in 1931. She was a member of Woodbridge Rebekah Lodge, Farm Bureau Women, Zion Reformed Church and Sewing Circle, past president of the church's Women's Guild and Altar Guild.
She was preceded in death by a son, Robert Lee Bitterman, who died in 1942.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by a brother, Leon Hofman of Scottsbluff, Neb., and a sister, Mrs. Clara Edleman of Eau Clare, Wis.
