Hazel Louise Bishop was born October 24, 1918 near Tennis, SD to Ernest and Anna Hofmann. She left this life at 90.

Hazel was raised on a farm outside of Faulkton, SD and moved to the Willamette Valley at the age of 19. She married Joe Williams November 23, 1940 and had one son, Roger. She lost Joe and Roger to separate tragic accidents.

Hazel married Andrew Bishop February 23, 1947. Together they raised their son Ryan and farmed in the Aumsville area for over 50 years. Andy preceded her in death in 1994.

Hazel especially enjoyed helping with the farm, gardening, crocheting and needlework. She was active in her church and traveled extensively throughout the U.S. and Canada.

She is survived by her son, Ryan Bishop (Claudia) of Turner, OR, 3 grandchildren Jason Bishop of Turner, OR, Kristin Harter (Bryan) of Dundee, OR, Brandon Bishop (Sarah) of Aumsville, OR and 2 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 1pm, Friday, March 27th at Weddle Funeral Chapel Stayton, OR. Burial will follow at Lone Oak cemetery Stayton, OR. Services entrusted to Weddle Funeral Services.
