Enid, OK — The funeral for Lorene Barnes, 80, will be 1:30 p.m. today, March 25, 2008, at Elm Grove Community Church. Pastor Orville White will officiate. Burial will be in Brumfield Cemetery, Seiling. Arrangements are by Redinger Funeral Home, Seiling.

She was born June 25, 1927, in Longdale to Ratio Wayne and Voyed Ethel Parmenter Holeman and died Saturday, March 22, 2008, at Parkview Hospital, El Reno.

She married Orvis Halderman Jan. 4, 1944, in Woodward. They lived in Woodward, Vici, Shattuck, Waynoka and Chester. In 1999, they moved to Watonga where they lived until he died Feb. 15, 2003.

She married Delbern Barnes Aug. 9, 2003, southwest of Watonga. They made their home in Chester.

Surviving are her husband, Delbern of Chester; three daughters, Marquetta Chiles and Lesa Welch, both of Calumet and Beverly Colegrove of Waukomis; one sister, Shirley Cunningham of Cherokee; five brothers, Melton Gibson of Muskogee, Carroll Gibson of Medicine Lodge, Kan., Gail Gibson of Colorado, Calvin Gibson of Wichita, Kan., and Eldon Gibson of Miami; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

In addition to her first husband, Orvis, she was preceded in death by one sister and three brothers.

Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Brumfield Cemetery.
