During World War II, she worked for the U.S. Army Air Corps in Oxnard, Calif.
After the war, her passion for the medical field called her to be an administrator for the chief of staff of Daniel Freeman Hospital in Inglewood, Calif.
After moving to Las Vegas, she was a medical assistant for the Nevada Foot Institute.
Upon her retirement and after the death of her husband, Jan Holiday, she volunteered for Nathan Adelson Hospice, providing support to grieving families.
She is survived by her son, Stephen Cirillo of Henderson; daughter, Linda Cirillo of Evansville, Ind.; two sisters, Datha Messick and Zoe Guthmiller; three nephews, Bill Messick, Alan Guthmiller and David Guthmiller. Burial was Friday, Nov. 2, at Davis Memorial Park, Garden of Prayer, 6200 S. Eastern Ave.
