Services will be at 3 p.m. today in Penwell-Gabel Ford-Wulf-Bruns Chapel with Wayne Martin, pastor, and James Crandall, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Penwell-Gabel Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mrs. Green was born Sept. 25, 1908, in Joplin, Mo., to Earnest E. Holliday and Ruby Althea Jones.
Florence married James F. Fansler on April 13, 1927, in Coffeyville. James preceded her in death. She later married Emmet D. Green on April 3, 1959, in Coffeyville. He preceded her in death in 1977.
She attended school in Caney, completing her education in Omaha, Neb. She was a homemaker. Her hobbies included fishing, crocheting, cooking and collecting hummingbird replicas. Florence was a member of Emmanuel Southern Baptist Church in Coffeyville. She was an honorary 50-year member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles. Her life was centered around her family, friends and neighbors. She cherished them all. Florence will be greatly missed.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Jean Cary; two sisters, Lula Grace Steele and Zelma Hazel Ballard; and an infant grandson, Ronald Fansler.
Survivors include two sons, Donald M. Fansler and wife, Mary, of Dumas, Texas, and David L. Fansler of Coffeyville; a daughter, Roberta Graves and husband, Jack, of Coffeyville; 11 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials be to Emmanuel Southern Baptist Church in Coffeyville.
