Harrison and Harriet are said to have had nine children.
In the book Union County Past and Present on page 39 it states, "Another Virginian who settled in Union County early in the nineteenth century was Harrison Holt who, with his wife Harriet, lived for many years in the vicinity of Morganfield. Harrison Holt died about 1841, leaving a son, Peter C. Holt, who was born in the county in 1826. Peter Holt married Sarah Reasor, daughter of Thomas and Rebecca Reasor, in 1853. Twelve children were born of this union. Peter Holt died in 1888."
Elsewhere in the book on page 79 It states, that Harriet Holt was a member, "of the original congregation," of Claiborne Duvall's Methodist Church in Union County. He started his congrgation around 1815 and the church was, "a rude log church called Duval's Chapel."
