BENTON, Ky.--Molly Byars, 84, of Benton died Friday at Jackson Purchase Medical Center in Mayfield.
Mrs. Byars was retired from the food services department of the Marshall County school system. She was a member of Maple Spring United Methodist Church.
Surviving are three daughters, Shirley Nimmo and Linda Sue Smith, both of Benton, and Sara Cothran of Gilbertsville; two sisters, Polly Watkins and Charlene Holt, both of Benton; a brother, Billy R. Holt of Benton; seven grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Loman Byars. Her parents were Lake and Irena Beggs Holt.
Services will be at 3 p.m. Sunday at Collier Funeral Home here, with the Rev. Bob Saywell officiating. Burial will be in Maple Spring Cemetery.
