Services for Mrs. Martha P. Allen, 83, of 1209 Lloyd St., Neillsville, Clark County, Wis., will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Gesche Funeral Home. Mrs. Allen died Monday at Neillsville Memorial Home.
Officiating will be the Rev. Paul Forde, pastor of Calvary Lutheran Church. Burial will follow in the Neillsville Cemetery.
Friends may call from 5 - 9 p.m. today and until time of services Wednesday at the funeral home.
The former Martha P. Holtz was born July 28, 1898 in Rock County to Mr. and Mrs. August (Augusta) Holtz. She moved to Clark County with her parents at an early age and received her education in Granton and Lynn.
She was married to LeRoy G. Allen July 2, 1918 at Neillsville. He died in 1965. After their marriage the couple farmed in the Neillsville area.
Mrs. Allen also worked at the All-Aboard Restaurant for several years and at the Neillsville Bakery for many years.
She is survived by a sister, Mrs. Leo (Ella) Brickheimer, Marshfield.
In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by three sisters and two brothers.
