Evelyn Hope Clements, age 89, of Atlanta peacefully entered into her Heavenly Father's arms on August 22, 2010. Mrs. Clements was born in Notasulga, Alabama, the daughter of the late A.B. Hope and Willie Lee Wise Hope. She attended Montevallo Girls College, the University of Alabama, and Auburn University. She was a charter member of St. James Methodist Church in Atlanta where she was an active member of her circle and her Sunday school class for over 50 years. Her loving smile, her heart of gratitude and deep love for her family were evident to all who knew her. Affectionately known as "Nanee", she was endeared to both young and old with her witty personality and quick cute sayings. Her confidence came from the Lord Jesus as she trusted Him with each day of her life. We praise God for her legacy of unconditional love.

Survivors include her 3 children, Camille Clements Sudderth and her husband James T. Sudderth, Sr. of Roswell, GA; Richard L. Clements III and his wife, Sue S. Clements of Stone Mountain, GA; and Albert H. Clements and his wife, Dana N. Clements of Gainesville, FL; along with 7 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, 2 nieces, and many great nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, August 26, 2010 at 11:00 A.M., Dr. Crawford W. Loritts officiating. Interment will follow the service at Arlington Memorial Park in Sandy Springs.
