Mrs. Hazel Hope Gilreath, age 64, of Dahlonega, GA, beloved wife, daughter, mother, grandmother, aunt, and mother-in-law joined her Heavenly Father in eternal rest on November 25, 2010.

Mrs. Gilreath was a native and lifelong resident of Lumpkin County and was a member of Yahoola Baptist Church in Lumpkin County.

She was the daughter of the late W.A. Hope and Ina Jarrard Hope and was also preceded in death by sisters, Wilma Ramey, Sarah Day, Faith Hope, and Janice Gaddis.

Her beloved family includes her husband of 42 years, Frankie Gilreath, Dahlonega, GA; sons and daughters-in-law, Bradley and Frances Gilreath, Dahlonega, GA, Chad and Candice Gilreath, Dahlonega, GA; sisters, Joyce Hope, Dahlonega, GA, Jonnie Sheffield, Dawsonville, GA, Joanne Smith, Gainesville, GA; brothers, Andy Hope, Cornelia, GA, Frank Hope, Dahlonega, GA, Bill Hope, Dahlonega, GA, Bob Hope, Flowery Branch, GA, and J.W. Hope, Dahlonega, GA; grandchildren, Austin, Erica, Johnathan, Leanna, Amber, Victoria, and Natalie Rose Gilreath, Jonathan Black, and Paul Smith. Numerous other relatives also surivive.

Funeral services for Mrs. Gilreath are scheduled for 11 AM Monday November 29, 2010 at the Yahoola Baptist Church with Rev. Lyman Caldwell, Rev. Dean Bryant, and Rev. Terry Head officiating.

Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 3 PM until 9 PM and all day on Sunday.
