HORNADAY, VIRGIL ORA- Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in Payne & Son Funeral Home for Virgil Ora Hornaday, 74, of Niles St., who died Nov. 7 in a Bakersfield hospital. Rev. R. .Vander Littlejohn, pastor of North Heights Baptist Church, will officiate and interment will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park. The deceased was a native of Arkansas and had lived in California and Kern County for 10 years, and was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church. Survivors include one son, Virgil L. Hornaday, of Edwards; two daughters, Mildred Othell Pratt of Bakersfield and Bobbie Jean Castleberry of Carson City, Nev., and six grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Robert Douglas, John Edmondson, Byron Roger Harper White, Dennis Scott and George Edmondson. Payne & Son Funeral Home will be in charge.
