Clergyman. Up until one week before his death, he was preaching from the pulpit at Founder's Church of Religious Science, Los Angeles, California, having been it's pastor for 40 years. He was a leader in the New Thought movement after having left orthodox Christianity to study with Carl Jung, Albert Schweitzer and Ernest Holmes. He wrote several books and for 30 years had a radio program. He also was an accomplished marimba player.
